MAYFIELD MILL BATTLES THE STORM
With the recent weather events in the UK the Mayfield team have proved, once again, that we have the determination, resolve, skill and experience to deal with any adverse issues that we face and can continue to deliver excellent product and service to our customers. On 11th January a series of strong gusts of wind provided "perfect storm" conditions which resulted in an external wall collapsing and leaving a sizeable hole in the wall. Importantly nobody was hurt. The response by all members of the Mayfield team was immediate, proactive and driven by the objective of ensuring the continuation of delivering excellent customer service and quality product. Despite challenging working conditions the affected area was sealed off, immediate remedial actions were taken and production was restarted. Whilst we still have to finish the construction work, the response of everyone at Mayfield Yarns, alongside the immediate fixes implemented, has ensured that our business continues as usual.
